Chicken stuffing sandwiches are the essential in our house for Aer Lingus flights!! BUT - cheese board and red wine - that would be life .....

There is something about those chicken & stuffing sandwiches that beats any version available on the ground...

I have one very strong memory of being handed a Magnum on a Singapore Airlines flight from...Singapore to Heathrow I think. It was the most incredible experience then, at the age of 22. It felt like such luxury. A good cheese board though, I reckon that's definitely doable, with a crisp cold glass of white wine. Yum

Emphasis on the cold 😂! But it's the simple things like that isn't it. A Magnum on a plane sounds like such a treat.

Loved reading this. In the mid-aughts all the internal US flights I used to take had pizza pockets for the in-flight snack. They’d burn your mouth but they were also glorious. They also had a catalogue called Sky Mall where you could buy a personalised steak brander. Those were the days.

Oh my god, think we had one of those on flights to Florida and to Washington DC! Memories.... A personalised steak brander is top of our list for new merch ideas!
